John W. Findlay, Deputy Director at the National Radio Astronomy Observatory, Green Bank, W. Va., had been named Director of Arecibo Ionospheric Observatory in Puerto Rico for a one-year term beginning in the fall, He would succeed William E. Gordon. (NYT, 3/7/65, 75)
