The Second Symposium on Space Travel takes place at the Hayden Planetarium in New York City. In attendance are Willy Ley, George O. Smith, Fritz Haber, Milton Rosen, Fred Whipple, Wernher von Braun, Frederick I. Ordway III and many others.
