At the time it was written "Space Travel" presented one of the most penetrating surveys of problems and prospects of space travel. Typical subjects are air-conditioning of spaceships, construction of interplanetary rockets, landing on bodies without atmospheres, and travel to the stars. The book is very well illustrated.
