The aim of this article is to show how the fall of Skylab had a political impact for both Jimmy Carter and NASA. The scope of this article reviews internal memos and author interviews along with secondary sources and contemporary events to show the involvement of NASA, Administration personal and the President working together to solve this problem. The conclusions shows the negative and positive political impact which Skylab's demise had for NASA and the Administration.
