Filmed on Merritt Island in April 2000 by Robert Godwin. This wrecker's yard had been accepting scrap from the Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral air force station for over 40 years. The owner died and the county took possession and auctioned everything in large lots. Included were hundreds of protective suits and helmets, an Atlas missile on a flatbed truck, computers, Saturn V tool kits, countdown clocks, contractor models, a full-size mockup of Friendship 7 and much more spread over many acres.
