Issue #5 of the Bulletin of the American Interplanetary Society is published in New York. Articles include a history of the rocket by G.Edward Pendray, news from the German rocket society that they have secured a large flying field to conduct their experiments, "The Mechanics of Rocket Flight" by Laurence E. Manning, news of a radio broadcast on CBS radio about a flight to the moon delivered by John Q. Stewart of Princeton, and "To the Moon in 15 Years" by Robert Esnault-Pelterie.


"The Mechanics of the Space Flight" by Hugo Gernsback appears in Everyday Mechanics magazine.

"Why Rockets Propel" by David Lasser appears in Aviation Mechanics magazine.

"Will the Rocket Displace Artillery" by Gawain Edwards appears in Gernsback's Science and Invention magazine.

The Pineal Stimulator a science fiction story by American Interplanetary Society founder Fletcher Pratt appears in Hugo Gernsback's Amazing Stories magazine.
