Official founding of the British Interplanetary Society in Liverpool. 15 people were founding members. The meeting takes place at the offices of H.C. Binns esq, Room 15, 81 Dale Street Liverpool. As well as Philip Ellaby Cleator and Leslie J. Johnson, attendees included James Davies, Colin Askham, J. Toolan, Thomas McNab, E. Roberts, James A. Free Jr and Norman Weedall.
