From 2010 to 2020, ticket prices to an orbital hotel will be more than $1 million per seat, while tickets to a nice island resort today generally cost $500 to $2,000. After 2020, as the idea of orbital hotels catches on, prices likely will drop below $1 million and surely will reach $100,000—but how fast they may drop is impossible to predict now.
