NASA announced that the December flight of the Endeavour Space Shuttle mission to service the Hubble Space Telescope was scheduled to last 11 days and to involve a record of five spacewalks, with the possibility of two additional walks, if needed. (NASA Release 93-76; W Times, Apr 25/93)
Richard T. Barrett, a senior design engineer at NASA's Lewis Research Center, Cleveland, Ohio, was awarded the Federal Laboratory Consortium Award of Excellence in Technology Transfer for 1993. (NASA Release 93-73)
