Astronaut the journal of the Manchester Interplanetary Society is published by Eric Burgess with cover art by society member Harry Turner.

Maurice K. Hanson of the British Interplanetary Society publishes Novae Terrae magazine Volume 2 Number 4. This is the last issue before he handed over most editing duties to Edward John Carnell and Arthur C. Clarke.
