NASA reported Voyager 1 was 598 975 000km (372 186 000mi) from earth; Voyager 2, 544 445 000km (338 303 000mi). One-way communication time for Voyager 1 was 33.3min, for Voyager 2 30.2min. Spacecraft distance traveled since launch was 931 872 000km (579 038 000mi). for Voyager 1, 936 428 000km (581 869 000mi) for Voyager 2. Voyager 1's velocity relative to earth was 70 830km/hr (44 013mi/hr), Voyager 2's 68 537km/hr (42 586mi/hr). Voyager 1's velocity relative to the sun was 49 262km/hr (30 609mi/hr); Voyager 2's 44 334km/hr (27 548mi/hr). (NASA Release 78-194)
